Tyler Rist joined Sanchez Daniels & Hoffman in 2026, where he focuses his practice on civil and insurance defense, including tort and commercial litigation. Tyler received his JD from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2024, and his B.A. from Butler University in 2021 with a minor in Business Law.
Prior to joining Sanchez Daniels & Hoffman, Tyler was an attorney at an insurance defense firm specializing in Workers’ Compensation Defense as well as subrogation and lien recovery. He also worked at a Chicago litigation firm handling employment law, personal injury, and business litigation matters. Additionally, he was previously an extern for the Cook County Public Defender’s Office in the Felony Division.
Outside of the office, Tyler is a dedicated chess player and musician.
