Awards
Kelly Cronin focuses her practice on defending corporate and municipal clients in product liability, toxic tort actions, premises liability, employment discrimination and harassment, construction negligence and motor vehicle collisions. Prior to joining Sanchez Daniels & Hoffman LLP she was an associate attorney practicing insurance defense at a reputable Chicago law firm. As a trial attorney, Ms. Cronin has first-chaired two jury trials to verdict, and received favorable outcomes for her clients on both occasions. Ms. Cronin has arbitrated dozens of cases in front of the Cook County Mandatory Arbitration Center, maintaining a stellar record of success for her clients.
In her motion practice, Ms. Cronin has drafted several winning dispositive motions based on 2-619, 2-615 and summary judgment. She has argued motions on behalf of product manufacturers, trucking and construction companies, individual defendants and municipalities.
Ms. Cronin has experience deposing fact witnesses including individual plaintiffs, adverse witnesses and police officers. She is also experienced in deposing treating medical providers including orthopedic surgeons, emergency medical technicians, physical therapists, neurologists, primary care physicians and other specialists, to name a few. Lastly, Ms. Cronin has experience in deposing retained expert witnesses, including economists, physiatrists and physical rehabilitation physicians. Ms. Cronin also enjoys serving as an official arbitrator for the Cook County Mandatory Arbitration Center.
