Emanuel “Chris” Welch, a partner at the law firm of Sanchez Daniels & Hoffman LLP, has been named by the Law Bulletin Media company as one of Chicago’s Leading Lawyers in 2018. This is a designation received after being selected by his peers. Specifically, Welch has been recognized as a Leading Lawyer in Civil Rights, Constitutional Law and School Law.
Welch has been a partner at Sanchez Daniels & Hoffman LLP since June 2007, after originally joining the firm in December of 1997. A 1997 graduate of The John Marshall Law School and a member of the School Hall of Fame since 2016, Welch represents a number of school districts and municipalities. He frequently lectures at the Annual Illinois Association of School Board Conference and the Annual Illinois Municipal League Conference.
“I am truly honored and humbled to be named one of Chicago’s Leading Lawyers.” Welch said, “This is particularly rewarding because it comes from my peers.” Only 5% of all lawyers licensed to practice law in the state can call themselves Leading Lawyers, and you cannot buy the distinction of being a Leading Lawyer. The selection results from the Law Bulletin Publishing Company’s annual surveys that are mailed to every practicing lawyer in the state and then reviewed and vetted by their Advisory Board.
Previously, Welch was named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers Magazine in 2011, and a Super Lawyer in 2013. For more information, please visit www.leadinglawyers.com or www.sanchezdh.com. Welch can be reached directly by calling (312) 641-1555.
